TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The interested event organizer has to communicate/contact the assigned department, the Fair and Display Division of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), for holding/organizing any event in the Bangladesh China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC).

  2. Smoking is not allowed except in designated areas for smoking at the BBCFEC for maintaining a healthy atmosphere.

  3. The event organizer can only use the venue and facilities of BBCFEC after approval of the authority in writing. The event organizer is responsible for checking whether the venue and facilities are in satisfactory condition before use. The event organizer has to maintain due diligence in using the venue and facilities, and the organizer is responsible for handing over the venue and facilities in the same condition prevailed before use.

  4. Any activity requiring fire or causing flame is forbidden at all places in and around BBCFEC. The event organizer shall be responsible for any loss or damage if any.

  5. The event organizer is not allowed to use, move, or remove any facility that is not booked in advance. It is not permissible to affix additional items on the ceiling, walls, floors, furniture, equipment, or fixtures of BBCFEC. If there is any loss or damage due to misuse of facilities by the exhibitors, the event organizer is responsible for the repair and replacement cost.

  6. All the materials and props can only be shipped within the booking period and BBCFEC will not receive or transfer any materials on behalf of the hirer.

  7. The event organizer shall not be allowed to occupy any place beyond the booked venue, including corridors, stairways, open space, etc. Any damage caused by participating companies in the un-booked areas will be the responsibility of the event organizer, and compensation due to damage will be claimed to the event organizer.

  8. The event organizer is responsible for any extra equipment and furniture required for the event, however, a list of such equipment and furniture has to be submitted to the BBCFEC authority for carrying in and bringing out of the premise.
      Event organizers have to take care of their belongings, BBCFEC is not responsible for any loss or damage caused.

  9. The event organizer has to remove all of their belongings before the expiry of the booking period. Any physical items left at the venue shall be considered abandoned items. BBCFEC may handle the items without prior notification to the hirers. BBCFEC may impose a handling fee on the hirers for any cost whatsoever caused.

  10. Event organizers have to keep the venue clean. The event organizer is responsible for any extra cleaning fee incurred.

  11. Eating and drinking at BBCFEC may be done in designated areas.

  12. Please save the environment by controlling the amount of garbage produced. Garbage that exceeds the normal designated capacity will be charged according to the type of garbage and how it needs to be handled. Bulky garbage, for example, exhibition items like large foam boards, timber, and flower arrangements may require special handling. Bulky items need to be disposed of by event organizers. Please refer to the Extra Chargeable Items for charges on garbage handling.

  13. The event organizers are forbidden to create any nuisance to visitors and other users of BBCFEC.

  14. The power supply in BBCFEC is set at 220 volts. The event organizers are required to use appropriate sockets and plugs. Please make the necessary applications if in need of additional power. All costs of additional power shall have to be borne by the event organizer.

  15. The event organizer may contact concerned personnel of BBCFEC or EPB for any support necessary to organize any event or to complain of any malfunction of electricity or any facility. 

  16. BBCFEC authority reserves the right to terminate any activity or the whole event at once without any refund or compensation if the event organizer cannot comply with any terms and conditions, or cannot follow the reasonable requests put forward by the staff of BBCFEC

  17. BBCFEC authority (EPB) reserves all right to seek compensation regarding any loss caused to any facilities at BBCFEC.

19. The event organizers are responsible for ensuring their staff members and any person temporarily engaged by them comply with the above terms and conditions at all times.
